ENGLISH FOR GENERAL PURPOSES
English for General Purposes program at Bridge Business College helps students develop their essential English language skills and proceed to more specialised English language courses. The course focuses on the daily use of the language for life and work needs as well as common expressions useful to adapt to new environments and facilitate cultural exchange.
This is a great starting point for everyone who wants to improve their English language skills. You will be assigned after an entry language test to the appropriate level course. You will learn with experienced trainers and in small groups. Intake dates are every Monday.
For those new to English study, our elementary English program will ensure that you achieve all of the basic skills in English including how to speak confidently and understand spoken and written English.

Elementary to Upper Intermediate level
The General English program at Bridge Business College helps students develop their essential English language skills to assist with everyday life in Australia and proceed to more specialised English language courses. For those new to English study, our elementary English program will ensure that you achieve all of the basic skills in English including how to speak confidently and understand spoken and written English.
Course Length: 4 – 48 weeks
Course includes:
- Course materials
- Access to Bridge Business College’s events, workshops and a wide range of resources
- Free WiFi, Scanning, Printing and Photocopying

- A weekly programme of workshops, social activities and trips
- Free IELTS and Cambridge classes on Fridays
- Free placement testing and proficiency assessments
