Be quick SUMMER is almost over!!!
Many students of Bridge Business College haven’t had the chance to enjoy a lovely Sydney Summer. The good news is, there is still time and I have listed my top picks of places for you to go and enjoy the last days of Summer in Sydney.
Picnic at Mrs Macquarie’s Chair– There is no better place to enjoy the view of Sydney’s Iconic “harbour bridge” and “Opera house” than at Mrs Macquarie’s Chair. For a fun day out in the sun, head on day to Mrs Macquarie’s Chair with friends and family. Why not grab your picnic rug, pack some light refreshments, perhaps take a chilled bottle of bubbly or a cold beer. For those who prefer solitude and serenity – grab your favourite book and find a big shady tree down at Mrs Macquarie’s Chair and settle in for a relaxing day out.
Swimming and Yoga at Andrew Boy Charlton – Sydney beaches can get really packed during this time of year and of course, many people live far distances from the beaches. For those who want to take a dip on a hot sunny day, Andre Boy Charlton pool is opened every day of the year. Get on down there for a relaxing swim by the harbour surrounded by the Royal Botanical Gardens. There are also Sunrise or Sunset yoga classes that you can join in before or after taking a refreshing dip in the pool.
Kayak and Stand-up paddle boarding at Rose bay Aquatic Hire– For those who like to explore Sydney’s famous harbour beaches and islands – make sure you check this out. Go on down and hire either a kayak or paddle board – paddling away at your own pace, you will be able to get a closer look at the harbour and find those hidden beaches and islands. If you get tired, you can stop and relax at any secret beach though I personally prefer to relax at Queens Beach – a hidden jewel of Sydney’s harbour only accessible by water. Here you can take a quick dip before paddling back to reality of life. This is also a great workout yet very relaxing.
Open air Cinema/Moonlight Cinema– Now that you have taken in some of the daylight activities Sydney has to offer, it’s time to WIND down and enjoying your favourite movies. There is nothing more fun or romantic then enjoying an Open Air Cinema at Mrs Macquarie’s Point or the Moonlight Cinema at Centennial Park.
These are just some activities that I enjoy partaking in but Sydney has so many activities on offer for those Summer days still remaining. So don’t forget to look out for BBC events calendar and Student Clubs for more activities!
Enjoy your SUMMMER everyone!
